Over the last several years, Carrie has offered an annual ethics workshop in Idaho for helping professionals. Carrie integrates her mindfulness-based approaches and love of Hakomi with Cedar’s unique ethics perspectives. Practicing psychotherapy in a small community lends itself to complex issues such as dual-role relationships, confidentiality, boundaries, and self-care. She never tires of reflecting upon the Power Spiral Model and enjoys providing an experiential, mindful approach to ethical issues. In addition to her professional workshops, she has provided individual consultation for a variety of ethical issues, utilizes RUOP with couples, parents, and teachers, and has spoken to the Idaho Marriage & Family Therapist board. Carrie uses RUOP in her private practice and in her life and looks forward to offering more mindfulness-based ethics work to a variety of venues.
Carrie will be offering her 4th annual “The Heart of Ethics in Community: Mindful Ethics for Helping Professionals” this spring in Hailey, Idaho. This unique 4-hr workshop is April 29, 2012, from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. Please contact Carrie for more information: (208) 721-0531 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
