Right Use of Power™ E-Courses

Fulfill your Continuing Education (CE) hour requirements for license renewal or re-certification or gain new knowledge or skills you can incorporate into your work. In addition to offering CE credits through workshops, the Right Use of Power Institute offers both ethics and general CE hour credit for E-courses that you can complete at your own convenience. 

Each course brings together readings from topic chapters in the book Right Use of Power: The Heart of Ethics with self-study and personal reflection questions.  The courses don’t differ from simply reading the book. They do give you an opportunity to use the book to get CE hours. 

Affordable and easy
All you need is a an Internet connection. Download each E-course individually, then complete it online. You will receive your official documentation certificate via email.

Learn at your own pace
Complete the reading and assessment questions at your own pace. There is no deadline to complete the E-course, so you can work according to your own schedule. Each E-course includes reading, a self-study practice, and several questions to complete. 

Accredited and approved
The Right Use of Power™ Institute is accredited and approved as a continuing education provider by:
  • National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) - ACEP #6736
  • National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) — Provider #424854-00.
    • (All mini-courses are approved for the ethics requirement. The Power Differential, Boundaries, and Codes of Ethics are specifically approved for Standard V.)
  • California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)

  • If your organization is not listed above, check with your board to see if it grants reciprocal credit for courses approved by any of these organizations. Many of them do. If not, please contact us and we will look into pursuing accreditation with your organization.
