E-Courses FAQ

How do the mini-courses work?
Earning CE hours from Right Use of Power™ is easy and affordable. To complete an E-course for CE credit, simply purchase the download from the online store, complete the required reading (taken directly from the Right Use of Power: The Heart of Ethics book - it is included with purchase) and then submit your answers to the test questions online.  You will receive your official documentation certificate immediately upon passing the test.

What are the assessment questions like?
The test is open book and requires Multiple Choice and True/False responses.

How long do I have to complete the course?
Please take as long as you need to complete the courses.  Each E-course can be completed in 1 to 3 hours.

Who will receive the documentation certificate once I’ve completed a mini-course?
A certificate will appear once you pass the online test. It will be up to you to print it, complete any required paperwork and submit a copy of the documentation to your professional organization.

What organizations accept CEs from the Right Use of Power™ Institute?
We are accredited and approved as a continuing education provider by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC), the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). If your organization is not listed, check to see if it grants reciprocal credit for courses approved by any of these organizations. Many do. If not, you may also see if your organization is accredited through siteceu.com (scroll down to the Right Use of Power™ section) where you may also take the course.

How are CE credits calculated?
CE hours are calculated at 6,000 words per CE hour.

What information is shown on the documentation certificate?

The documentation certificate will include your name, the course name with a list of topics completed, the CE hours associated with the course, the date of completion, your test score, and the provider numbers you will need when submitting this information to your organization.
