Right Use of Power™ E-Courses
What you will receive is an out-of-the-ordinary ethics course. In five different 3 CE hour sections, plus an introductory 1 CE hour course, you will go through a whole program and essentially download the contents of an entire book, which is both a guide and resource. This approach addresses topics unusual to ethics courses, such personal and role power, self-care, resolving difficulties, feedback, shadow, and shame. Each course is a stand-alone course and each builds on the others. The courses can be taken in any order and spread out over any length of time.
This is ethics in its largest context as the wise and compassionate use of power and influence. This is embodied and engaged ethics - ethics from the inside-out, power with both heart and strength, ethical wisdom tuned to the special dynamics of the therapist/client relationship.
The self-reflective exercises at the end of each chapter are recommended for getting full benefit from the course, but are not required and will not be tested. The information is for your personal use.
Please note: The CEU material is taken directly from the Right Use of Power: The Heart of Ethics book and the portions of the book needed to complete the CEU will be provided to you in pdf format after purchase.

"[Simply] the best book I've seen on the ethics, dangers, and potentials inherent within helping relationships. This is the book I wish I had read when I was first training as a psychotherapist." - Bill Plotkin
"The approach of this book helps people graduate to a deeper connection to their own ethical natures, an internal sense of their own integrity, and a personal view of what is right in their relations with clients." - Rob Fisher
