Focus: Body workers, massage therapists, educators of massage therapy and bodywork, health care providers, mental health care providers, spiritual care practitioners

Background: Fenna is a licensed massage therapist in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a 2009 graduate of the Hakomi Comprehensive Training in Chicago. She has taken two trainings on the Right Use of Power with Cedar Barstow, including the teacher training. This approach to ethics has transformed her outlook and relationship with her clients, offering a key ingredient for healthier interactions  and providing renewed fervor for her work.

Fenna has been a member of the American Bodyworkers and Massage Professionals for 24 years and works from her private practice, Mind Your Body, where she helps clients inhabit and appreciate the sacred wisdom of their bodies. She is a member of the Eagle Park Wellness Collective in Grand Rapids, with whom she shares working space and resources.

Fenna spent 10 years studying and practicing a shamanic course of study in Toronto, giving her a strong footing in experiential, earth-centered spirituality, native cosmology, leadership development, and a healing paradigm based in self-study. She has taken a 5-day intensive course in NonViolent Communication and is an 18 year meditator trained in the Vipassana technique.

Fenna has a strong passion for self study, experiential learning, getting past conditioned responses, and helping people recover the truth of who they are. She sees this as fundamental in order to live more authentically and "be the change we wish to see in the world."
