The Right Use of Power™ Institute Teachers' Guild

Personally trained by Dr. Cedar Barstow, Magi Cooper, and Peg Syverson, members of the Right Use of Power™ Institute Teacher’s Guild are independent teachers who teach Right Use of Power™ programs around the world. They have adapted this approach to fit personal interests and thus offer programs designed for specific groups such as massage therapists, coaches, clergy, nurses, business teams, social workers, judges, police, teachers, psychotherapists, youth, parents, couples and managers and for special topics such as empowering women, resolving conflict, leadership dynamics, and intentional communities. New programs are in the process of being developed.

Right Use of Power™ Guild
The Right Use of Power™ Guild was formed in 1996 to encourage and support the expanded development and teaching of the Right Use of Power™ approach and curriculum. These teachers have adapted the material and experiential teaching style of Cedar Barstow’s foundational program and the books, The Right Use of Power: The Heart of Ethics, Living in the Power Zone, and How Right Use of Power Can Transform Your Relationships, co-written by Drs. Cedar Barstow and Reynold Ruslan Feldman.
Guild Members have access to the Institute's intranet with a library, discussion area, membership lists, partner organization references, networking functions, and creative brainstorming and program development tools.
Guild members are trained to facilitate Right Use of Power™ programs and are networked through the Right Use of Power™ Institute. The Institute, however, does not officially endorse any teachers. All teachers are thus considered self-employed and non-contracted by the Institute. Right Use of Power™ written material and experiential exercises are “open source” and free for use as long as appropriate credit is given to the author.
